This past week DAB have been playing along with BBC Radio Derby and their regular Ed to Head challenge. Each week a community group faces five questions each day on general and local knowledge.

At the start of the week four teams out of 26 were joint top of the table with 22 points each. The DABstars were set the challenge of climbing to the top of the leader board and did just that by becoming only the second team in the quiz’s history to get all 25 out of 25 questions correct.

The stars were made up of staff and volunteers from the Derby office as well as callers into the Radio show offering their guidance. We were asked questions ranging from decisions made on Location, Location on Channel Four to the markings on local signs on bus stops in Eggington. We want to thank everyone involved in the challenge for all of their generous help, including many people we have never met who went out of their way to help us find the answers.
