News: Capturing DAB

DAB would like to offer our immense gratitude to Bob and Margaret from B&M Photography for spending a day taking hundreds of photographs of our staff, volunteers and service users.

B&M Photography donated their time to help DAB to document the work that we do with local visually impaired people throughout Derbyshire. The pictures will be used to help promote our services to visually impaired people who don’t currently access our services; to attract new donors to fundraising events; and to attract more volunteers. Many of the photographs will be displayed on the website in the coming weeks, so make sure to check back in the future.

B&M have helped to ensure that as much of DAB’s funds are spent on supporting visually impaired people as possible. “We felt very much that this was something we could do, and truly felt that the time and energy we devoted to it was so worthwhile. DAB will soon have a catalogue of images they can freely use to accompany and enhance many articles, and use on their new website too. We were, in fact, grateful for the opportunity to help the charity in a small way to a significant result. Thank you DAB we wish you continued growth and success.”

Bob and Margaret specialise in Wedding Photography and portraiture and are available to hire for parties and other events. More information on B&M Photography can be found at their website - www.your-way.co.uk
