Mobile Resource Centre

The mobile resource centre is a specially adapted vehicle which travels the county to sign post services for visually impaired people and their carers.

The Resource Centre acts as a mobile office, from here we can put visitors in touch with other DAB services, Social Services and Low Vision Assessment Advisors to name but a few.

Run by a team of dedicated volunteers and assistants, sometimes accompanied by DAB staff members, the Mobile Resource Centre is a vast collection of travelling sight related information.

Visitors are welcome to come on board to receive help and information about sight related issues as well as browse our small stock of day to day aids. The Centre also holds high and low tech items designed to help pass the time. All items can be purchased from the centre.
