The aim of the Home Support Service is to ensure that the needs of visually impaired people within the county are being met, from having their talking clocks fixed to being referred to professional groups, such as the Fire Service for free fire safety checks. 

The service has been developed through close links with Derbyshire County Social Service groups, and the team at DAB look forward to working alongside Social Services to ensure the new service reaches as many visually impaired people as possible.
