The Help Desk is based in Derby and provides assistance and information relating to all aspects of sight impairment, to our members and the general public whether the question relates to information on specific eye conditions, or issues encountered on a daily basis. The team also manages the Derby Resource Centre. This newly refurbished centre provides the opportunity for visitors to try out and buy daily living aids. The display ranges from talking watches to the latest CCTV equipment. One of the team will always be on hand to provide help and advice on equipment as well as information on other aspects of sight loss.
