Children and Young People

Providing support for children and young people aged 0-19 living in the Derby City and Derbyshire area, it is a great opportunity for young people with visual impairment to have fun, make friends and try something new.

Our activities include:

    *     Parent Support Group
    *     Play at Home
    *     After School Clubs
    *     Holiday Activity Sessions
    *     Mainstream Activities
    *     Mentoring Services
    *     Music Project

All our activities are run at different times and locations throughout Derby and Derbyshire. The activities are run by dedicated staff and volunteers who are committed to supporting children and young people to reach their full potential.

All our staff and volunteers are fully trained and enhanced CRB checked.

If you would like your child/children to take part in any of our services, or would like more information, please contact our Children's Department on 01332 292 262 or email nicola@dab.org.uk

DAB's children and young people's services are supported by Derby City Council Youth Opportunities Fund and Derbyshire County Council Youth Opportunities Fund.
