Bolsover Project

DAB members who live in the district of Bolsover are supported by the Big Lottery funded Bolsover Project which has the aim of reducing isolation for people with a visual impairment in this area.

The small team based at Bolsover Hospital are committed to helping to improve the health and well being of our members by developing social and sports activities and raising awareness of sight loss in the community.

In the past year our trips have taken us from going to the Opera at Buxton to feeding baby goats at White Post farm and indoor bowling in Alfreton.

We like to think there is something for everyone at one of our 10 regular groups and are always open to suggestions!
